Eko-Logic, the Polish company founded with the support of Polish Investment Fund, was announced the winner of best Impact Investment of the Year in Europe. The prestigious award was granted by the European Trade Association for Business Angels, Seed Funds, and other Early Stage Market Players during the 11th EBAN Annual Congress that took place in the Polish National Opera in Warsaw (Poland).

The winners of the awards were selected by a jury panel and have significantly contributed to the development of the European early stage market by contributing at national or European level as role models for business angels, networks of business angels and seed funds. Eko-Logic has won the most prestigious of EBAN’s award in the “Impact Investment of the Year” category. The category’s criteria considered by the jury panel were: project, size and structure of the transaction, project’s impact on economic and social environment.

Eko-Logic is a fast growing company in the field of renewable energy sources, mainly specializing in the wind energy. The idea of Eko-Logic's business model is to fulfill the compliance with the Kyoto Protocol and to allow individual investors to enter into sectors hitherto reserved for corporations. New Polish renewable energy regulations enabled the technology using dispersed energy to be implemented. This improves the efficiency of the system, provides higher quality energy to the costumer, increases the reliability of the power supply, and plays a part in the environment policy.
